Hitomi have created their own brand of no nonsense, commercial rock music that has gained them a reputation as one of the hottest bands on the unsigned scene in the UK. Since Hitomi's launch in 2007 established venues have booked and re-booked the band as a result of their 'electric' past performances. Hitomi have gigged along side internationally recognized bands such as Hadouken, Hundred Reasons, Elliot Minor, This is Menace, Glamour of the Kill & Yashin.

The band's debut EP 'Save Face', was recorded with top industry Producer/Engineer Tim Speight. The EP has sold very well and has gained a lot of interest in the UK, with growing online support in other countries, particulary the USA. The EP gained an excellent review from UK national magazine 'Rock Sound' in May 2009.

In February 2010 Hitomi flew out to Philadelphia, USA to record their second EP, 'Unravel Me', with American Production Company, Play Work Productions. Hitomi's second release was highly anticipated amongst fans and industy professionals alike and there was a real buzz created around the band by the EP launch on the 8th October 2010.

At the launch of their Unravel Me EP, Hitomi sold out local venue 'The Lucorum' selling over 400 tickets and packing out the room to capacity. A review of the gig said 'you can't help but enjoy the energy they have on stage...Their show is outstanding from the spectacular lights down to the perfect mix on the sound.'

Both of Hitomi's EP's have received Radio air play on BBC Sheffield, Brighton's Juice FM, Dearne FM and many other local stations across the UK.

More recently Hitomi were named as one of the top three unsigned bands in the UK in the Kerrang! Warriors of Rock Competition. Hitomi were chosen by Kerrang! judges and voted for by the public above hundreds of other unsigned acts and performed a live set at Kerrang! House in Birmingham. The band view this as a highlight of their career so far and feel that being a clear favorite in the public vote proves the markability of Hitomi's music.

Hitomi are dedicated to playing and writing the music they love and the band is now in a position to take things in to the professional arena and release their music nationally and internationally under a label. Hitomi strongly believe in their capability to write commercial songs that will sell and prove popular in not only the UK but with an international audience
